I can’t blame you, being a drifter myself, it’s one heck of a fun ride to drift your car around corners at dangerously high speeds. Here are some tips to keep in mind when you want to buy a drift car.1. Make sure your drift car is Rear Wheel Drive. All the cars you saw drifting in the movie “Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift”, use a rear-wheel-drive car. I hope I you know enough about cars to know what a rwd car is, if you don’t, then I’m not quite sure drift is the smartest or safest move for you. A rwd car lets you slide the rear tires out, causing your car to drift.
2. You need a good power to weight ratio in your drift car. Most popular drift cars are Japanese sports cars. A very popular drift car is the AE86 Trueno or Sprinter or “hachiroku” made by Toyota. Other popular drift cars are one’s made by Nissan like the 240sx 180sx as it’s know in Japan and Australia), Silvia S13, S14, S15, Skyline R32, R33, R34 both coupes and 4 door sedans. Then there are the bigger drift cars that are becoming popular here in Japan like the Toyota Chaser or Mark II. Mazda’s Rx7 – FC, FD are also very popular as you’d know because you saw an orange and black FD Rx7 in “Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift”.
3. You then need a few essential parts on your car to make it drift like in the movie “Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift”. Most important is an LSD (limited slip diff). This allows you to spin both rear tires at the same time, making it easier to drift. Other necessary parts include a bucket seat. Makers like Bride and Recaro have great one’s pro drifters use. Coil over or lowered suspension is a must have to lower the center of gravity and stiffen the suspension of your car. That’s about it for the main drift parts. If you want to make your car look like it’s straight from the movie “Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift”, the you will need a body kit, big chrome wheels, neon lights and a big exhaust etc.
But remember Drift Car folks and “wannabe” drifters, “Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift” is just a movie and I don’t recommend you copy that driving style on the streets. Have fun buying a drift car and be saCheck out more pics of the Tokyo Drift cars

outside, the motor has a Super G Force bodykit, adjustable carbon fibre spoiler and 18-inch alloy wheels worth more than £7,500 all finished in a dark blue over silver paint job.
The car is being supplied Newera Imports, who are selling 18 other motors from the movie.
In Tokyo Drift, Sean Boswell played by Lucas Black is told by authorities to move to Tokyo with his dad or face prison after being caught street racing,
In the Japanese capital, Boswell gets into the underground drifting scene making a name for himself as an up and coming racer.
The film is full of high-octane thrills and boasts a massive range of modded motorsBut while based in Tokyo, the movie was filmed in Hollywood, meaning the studio had to import right-hand-drive cars for authenticity, many of which were supplied to the crew by Newera.
Other cars from the film for sale include a crazy blue and orange 2001 Nissan Silvia and an insane 600bhp Nissan Skyline.

The track is on a former Canadian airbase constructed during the Second World War and later used by British Aerospace as a manufacturing and test facility. The track's main route, marked by painted lines and simple structures such as stacks of tyres, was designed by test drivers from Lotus. layout of the track is designed to put the car through various conditions, ranging from provoking understeer to testing brake balance and tires. The track is approximately 1.75 miles 2.82 km long. It is considered to be an equaliser for cars since, according to Richard Hammond both 0-60 miles per hour 96.6 km/h times and top speed are totally meaningless. The track also incorporates a drag strip; although this is not used for timed segments, it does feature in some challenges and other features on the show. The course starts on the perimeter road outside the Top Gear studio. The first bend is a fast right-left kink named "Crooner Curves." "Willson Bend" is the first proper turn on the track and the first corner usually seen when The Stig is lapping a car "Chicago", a long right-hand around a tyre wall onto the main runway, was designed by Lotus as a Steady State Corner, designed to highlight understeer or oversteer of the chassis. Next is "Hammerhead", a left-then-right corner, which again highlights understeer and oversteer. The track comes to a right-hand curve, then the course turns right through the flat-out section called the "Follow Through". After the left hand "Bentley Bend", the course comes to "Bacharach Bend", which, after the first series, has been referred to as the "Penultimate Corner" or the "Second-to-last Corner" and is often regarded as one of the most challenging on the course. The final turn before the finish line is "Gambon" in honour of Sir Michael Gambon, who completed the turn on two wheels in episode 8 of Series 1. Prior to this, the corner was known as "Carpenters Corner
UsagThe track is used routinely for the Star in a Reasonably-Priced Car and Power Laps segments on Top Gear. It also serves myriad roles in other portions of the programme, especially in testing cars and in challenges. Cars acquired during challenges must often post lap times driven by either one of the presenters or The Stig) around the track against either a target time or a time set by The Stig in another vehicle. During many challenges, the track is used in more unorthodox fashion for instance, serving as a makeshift motorway lane during a challenge testing tailgating prowess with vans. The track is also used for testing cars reviewed on the show or drag races. So far, six Formula One drivers have driven the "Reasonably-priced car" on the show. Power Laps
Power Laps is a segment of the programme in which The Stig completes a lap around the track in a reviewed car to compare its performance to previous contenders.
To be eligible to appear on the Power Lap Times board, a vehicle must be a road-legal production car and must have sufficient ride height to clear a standard speed bump referred to by the presenters using the common British term Sleeping policeman although occasionally vehicles that cannot appear on the list are still timed. Whenever a non-qualifying vehicle is raced, the time is compared to the official Power Laps but then removed from the board. For example, the Sea Harrier jump jet holds the all-time best lap record of 0:31.2 but this time was taken for comparative purposes only. The Ferrari FXX 1:10.7 was taken off the board after because it both failed to meet road legal standards and used slick tyres.
All laps are timed with the car's manufacturer-provided adjustable settings configured for maximum performance all adjustable suspensions are set at their most efficient, all gear shift maps are at their most aggressive, and driving aids such as traction control are deactivated. Lap times do not offer complete comparisons between the cars, mainly because wet or otherwise poor weather conditions see time deductions below can negatively affect lap times.
